about me

Hello, my name is Russel Dobson, and I am a physics teacher at GCSE and A-Level.

I have been working as a teacher of physics since 2012 is South London and Kent and now work in a highly successful grammar school in Bexley.

I have a BEng in Electronic Engineering in which I received a First Class Honours and won the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Kent Branch prize for Best Overall Performance.

I have over 10 years’ experience in teaching physics in both comprehensive and grammar school settings, teaching both boys and girls. In my current school I teach students every year that achieve places at Oxford, Cambridge and Russell Group universities. I have previously been head of physics but now focus on STEM/engineering clubs working on projects with my students such as CanSat and STEM Racing.

I now also work part time as a personal online physics tutor and am also building a YouTube channel with free revision resources.

I have a proven track record in private tutoring, helping many students achieve their physics goals and you could be next.
